Weekend Steam
The Midwest Central is in operation this weekend for the annual Midwest Old Settlers and Threshers Reunion. Number Six is down for boiler repairs, but the shop crew managed to complete the repairs to Number 9. With Number 9; the Shay, and Number 16; the Henschel, two steam locomotives are running most of the time. The Cummins Diesel powered Plymouth switcher was used for part of the day Friday, and it can take up the slack just fine if one of the steamers has trouble. The show runs through Labor Day, so head to Mt. Pleasant with the family for a good time.

Four day weekend already busy. Looks like a great time!
We saw Mom and several other relatives, made a couple of whirlwind tours, taking lots of pics, and are back home working on the barn again. The fun never ends!
