Gray Hit and Miss Engine
Keeping that Barn-Fresh look on a restored gas engine is an important trend in the hobby. When I first took a liking to these engines back in the 60's, everyone wanted to make them look like new, and there was a lot of patina rubbed out forever. Fortunately, some engines still are found hidden away that show their age very respectably when they are put back into operation. This Gray engine was on display last summer at Evansville.
