Hair Today
Bea is doing the follow-up treatments, starting today. She should be finished with it all on Pearl Harbor Day. She has an assortment of hats and scarves lined up to keep her head warm.

My best wishes to Bea!

One chemo is down, and she is feeling fine. It was a long day, but no problems. Radiation today. My brother the jeweler and his wife will be taking Mom to the rest of her treatments after I head home in a few days.
Our best wishes to her, and for a speedy recovery.
Thanks for the kind notes, friends. The first radiation treatment went well today, and then we went shopping at Menard's. We went out for Mexican tonight with my little brother, and Mom is feeling pretty good. I'll do some yard work for her tomorrow, and if she feels up to it, we may hit the range for a little practice before winter sets in. Back to So. Illinois Saturday. Time to cut wood and go back to work.
