...as True Blue Sam goes down in flames against Caleb Giddings at the Cowboy Fast Draw event, at GBR VI.
As luck would have it, I was paired against Caleb in my first time up at the fast draw event. I knew that I didn't have a chance of winning, but at least I didn't embarrass myself, and it took Caleb all five draws to win the set. My best time was .737, and I had a nice little group centered just above the light in the middle of the target. Caleb went on to win the contest, but there were some better contenders than me who really gave him a run for his money.
Congratulations on a great showing, Caleb, and I hope you can make it to Reno next September!
