Weekend Steam; Part Two

The Mrs. and I are enjoying being the eccentric great-aunt-and-uncle to my sister's grandkids.  Josh and Isaac love steam engines and old tractors, and we have been sending them toys from Kester's Collectables for several years.  Josh just turned nine, and his newest birthday treat is the Undermounted Avery; second from left.


George Kester has an online catalog (Linked through the Russell engine on the left side of the page.) You have to call, though, to order, which is good, because you get to visit with George and find out what he has ready to ship.  He can do credit card orders over the phone, or you can send him a check.  I usually call him a month before I want an engine so George will have time to paint and assemble the one I want.  Take a look at his webpage, and give him a call if you have a grandkid, neice or nephew with a birthday coming up.  You might even want to buy a few for yourself.
