Everybody Loves This Pistol
Both Susan and her mother Pat have Ruger 22/45 Lites. Pat's has a Bushnell red dot on top, and Susan's has a Vortex. We take them along when we work pistol classes at the Carmi range, and people like to shoot them. Last week I had two ladies at my station who both shot Susan's gun to qualify. In Illinois you have to shoot ten rounds each from 15, 20, and 30 feet, and put 70% of them in the black on a B-27 target. The first lady put 29 of her shots in the X ring, and bobbled down into the top of the 9 ring with one shot. The second lady put 27 in the X ring, and then she paused and asked me if it was OK to do head shots. Sure! She dotted both eyes and put one where the nose would be. Ruger ought to pay commissions to us.
