Just so long as that isn't the headlight of a very large train! :)

PS: what's the first thing you intend to do?

I want to put our '78 Landcruiser back on the road. It needs the brake and clutch systems overhauled, and the carburetor needs gunk cleaned out of it, then new tires.

Firewood for next winter...

Chainsaw videos for YouTube...

Next Saturday is Gary Bahre's annual Crankup. We hope to be there to celebrate a bit.

6 months after Dad's last day from Burlington Northern, he said he was busier than he ever was. And wouldn't trade it for the world.

You're welcome to head up north when you have time.

Thanks for the Well-Wishes! I worked a full day yesterday, and got away from the office half an hour late because of phone calls; a normal day. I had an e-mail from the far reaches of my district requesting a site visit to check out damage to trees, and it felt great to write back and say "I am retiring in one hour." (I also gave him advice for the situation and told him who to call.)
