I shot it, and have decided to let everyone shoot as close as 15 feet. Newbies might be more inclined to shoot it at that distance. Most of the hunters on the show use a .22 for the head shots, and some are using .22 WMR. They have shown Liz using a .22 WMR pistol on some of the shows. Liz's daughter was using a .38 snubbie last season. An angled shot with a .22 LR can ricochet, and that has been demonstrated with injuries a few times on Swamp People.
