Also, I'd cut cardboard to form an "X" inside a tuna can, fill it with wax & use it to cook over. I recommend it highly!<br /><br />White pine cones make excellent fire starters and so do sweetgum balls. Paraffin dissolves in mineral spirits, and you could use that to soak sawdust, corncobs, or twigs to make good fire starters.
