But he did what he wanted to do and enjoyed it for the most part. The railroad wanted the old guys out and paid him along with Teddy Bear, Harpo, Pauly, and Popeye to retire early.<br /><br />We lost track of Popeye, but Dad outlived the others by 10+ years.
