Maybe you don't have to go in to work today. If you are one of the lucky ones, enjoy an extra cup of coffee before you start on your chores around home.
The owner ahead of me didn't believe in flashing when putting on the porch roof. I never noticed any issues until this spring's heavy rains. Apparently just enough water was seeping through and now I've got a lot of wood to replace. On the porch roof and the wall.
In between rains, I spent today tearing off siding and cobbling together some flashing until I can tear the roof off.
I don't envy you on the home repairs. There is always an emergency building for us somwhere behind those walls, under the floor, or overhead. I don't even want to think about it.
The grinder thing has taken on a life of its own. I need to organize a bit so I don't start posting duplicates. Steam shows, flea markets, antique shops, and roadside surprises supply plenty of grinders. I have a few in the barn for a backup, just in case I run out.
Monday off? I wish.

BTW, where do you find all these grinders?
