Back To The Old Grind!

  1. Where do they use this? Never seen a machine that could turn brush into instant mulch.

  2. It was working on a field levee about a mile south of our home. (Southern IL) This machine would be useful for clearing a field of autumn olive, honey locust, or other invasive woody plants. They will have to use herbicide this summer to kill the trees when they resprout, or they will grow right back. A combination of herbicide and fire to control the vegetation would be a whole lot cheaper than this rig. I am guessing that it costs well over $100 per hour.

I would have liked to take my pictures a bit closer, but this thing throws chunks!
