Weekend Steam
Wood Brothers steam engine photo from Sullivan Auctioneers.com
This is where you should be on Saturday, June 18! There are a bunch of other neat machines going on the block at this auction. Click here for Sullivan's photo page.
Thanks to Stranded for bringing this to our attention!
UPDATE! The auctioneer is a YouTuber! Here is what he links to from his website.

I really thought about going to this auction, but I'll be elsewhere this weekend.
Chain steering. It looks so flimsy.
Some history on the auction block down there.
After-market pto's for a Wood Brothers are probably difficult to find.
I bet a wide belt-driven mower could be rigged up. Or at least mash the weeds down.
I see that the Woods Bros went for $32,000 and the Avery went for $44,000. I don't know if that is reasonable.
Steamers in runnable condition have been going for the price of nice new car for as long as I can remember. Gas tractors have certainly come up in the world! $44,000 really takes your breath away! I am glad that the folks who have these machines let the rest of us look.
