Luke Hartle of
North American Hunting interviewed Lori Petoske at Shot Show; she schools us on
Ruger's LC-380, and a couple other great
Ruger products. Some of the Internet chatter about the LC-380 is about the Why of this new model. The good news about this gun is that it is easier to operate the slide than either the
LC-9 or the
LCP. Recoil is less than the LCP because of the additional weight. Those differences make the LC-380 a good choice for folks who have trouble racking the slide on a centerfire pistol, or can't hang on tightly enough for the snappy recoil of the tiny LCP. Thanks for the great description, Lori!
