Seeing kids enjoying the the tractors is gratifying. You have to bring youngsters into the hobby or these machines will end up in a scrapheap. Engine hobbyists have been generous to kids as long as I can remember, and the tradition continues. You will see a couple people riding on the drawbar. That is the safe way to ride along on a tractor; you don't get run over if you fall off. Don't ever ride (or allow someone else) on the fender of a tractor. You see fatalities from that practice to this day.
