When my Father first started working at the Bessemer & Lake Erie Railroad car shop he was repairing coal cars. Being the new guy, he was "bucking rivets" just about like this - only with a air hammer. Still wasn't much fun though. He came home with many holes in his clothes - and burns on his arms.
