We nearly have our solar system ready to work. An electrician has to do some final hookup and then it will be up and running. Running the trencher was a little worry. There is a water main, our water line, a phone line, and a 7200 volt line that is buried. No problems, though.
Nuclear powered electricity. Awesome cool.
ReplyDeleteHitting that 7200 volt line would have been "interesting" to say the least!
ReplyDeleteHere in PA we have a number to call that will get all utilities out to mark their lines. Sure came in handy when I was putting in a line for my travel trailer....
We respect that line! We have the locators out whenever we have to dig. We keep the flags on the 7200 volt line in case we have to bury a pet. It is nearly five feet down, but I don't want to do any digging over it. A lineman came out and killed it before the guys worked on the panel just to be safe.
