Really neat and the only modern electronics are within that box mounted on the pedestal. Every other knob, dial, and control lever is the same as when it was built in the early forties. I noticed that those folks standing a railroad crossing didn't quite realize just how big the Big Boy really is, and moved back quite rapidly as the locomotive passed by. There is far less noise and movement in the cab then I imagined there was going to be.
