Well done. It's been a family tradition since I was a kid. Grandfather did his thing, dad took over, I followed when he was gone. Until 2018, we used original early 1900's kraut cutter and a 20gal crock that has been in the family since the 30's. We also did apple cider, again on early 1900's equipment until I bought new to preserve the old stuff for the 'museum'. 2019 we did near 200lbs of cabbage, and as always, a full bin of local apples. https://ciderkraut.wordpress.com/2017/07/09/ciderkraut/ details a few of the past events, except for the 'rona not letting #5 and #6 happen this, or last years. Maybe next year? And yeah, there's nothing like fresh kraut cooking over a pork roast and kielbasa all day.
Ah, the memories!!!
