Sooner or later, there is going to be a busted head, a saw in a femur or forehead, and someone backed over by the loader. The Mrs was at the County Seat and saw this action after a big old decadent pin oak was taken down.
Chaps, eye and hearing protection would be nice. You'd think they would be mandatory on government property. Sure would like to have some of that wood.
Anon: I am a bit flabbergasted that a contractor would operate this way. It is just a matter of time until there is a tragedy. Even independent loggers with no employees must have a backup alarm on a skidded and loader.
