Back To The Old Grind!
Some learn by listening to elders, some learn by experience; some don't learn at all.
Well, some also learn by thinking it through; 'what could I expect to happen if I did this ...'.
Growing up in corn country, I saw a lot of farmers who joined the Nub-Club. A neighbor lost his overalls along with his testicles when he got wrapped up in a power take off shaft. You have to think about what might get you!
One of my substitute teachers in high school lost his right arm trying to unjam a hay baler.
