Tuesday Torque: 1904 Waterous Fire Engine

It's good to note that steam powered pumpers continued to be made and used for many more years. This must have been one of the very first uses of a gas engine in fire fighting equipment.  Many Thanks, Merle!

Pretty neat and perfect for a James Bond Martini Mixer.

The company is still in business, and this website has some information, and some videos of Waterous pumps throwing water.
