Pretty neat.
But I'm still trying to figure out how the governor works.
It isn't the standard ball one that I've seen before, and I wonder if the springs on the flywheel work to limit the amount of steam the slide valve lets into the cylinder.

John in Philly: In this video of the Bessemer 8 HP engine you can see a similar setup working in the first twenty seconds. Not identical, but close. You see this type of governor on industrial stationary engines. I think they were pretty steady. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=n__gUGVCm9s&t=11s
